Steps in sample taking The syrup is first tested by a specialized laboratory. Each barrel is taste tested and graded according to taste to ensure superior quality. Only 70 % of syrup is kept for sale. A sample is then taken from each barrel, and labelled. These samples are available for testing by prospective buyers. * Certain conditions apply.
